February. Valentines Day. Birthdays. Foundation weeks. Prom.

This month has always been a busy month for me. Movie dates, lunch outs and concerts.

As promised, I’ve watched The Vow (my 2012 valentine movie).. and I have mixed opinions about it. The storyline is really good, but I can’t help feeling a little cheated at the end. I wanted Paige to remember Leo.. or somehow remember him (just to avoid the cliche ender), and feel guilty for all that she has done to him. I wanted her to hurt too.. I feel that Leo suffered too much and she didn’t love him enough or atleast showed it enough. But anyway.. she’s Rachel and he’s Channing.. they have always been my favorites.. so I could never hate this movie after all. Haha :)

Happy Birthdays. Belated happy birthday shouts to Hannah Banal, Jen Gonzales, Cogie Dieta, Martha Garcia, Jeff Chan, James Yap, Ynah De Paz and Jonathan Banal. Sorry for not buying gifts this year.. hahaha :)

Great love and tragedy come hand in hand. All great love ends tragically, because no one can live forever. -Nicholas Sparks

That day was really tiring.. I arrived at The Podium around 11 in the morning, and found a very long line. I lined up, and eventually had my chance on the draw lots.

I was unlucky. I’ve picked “sorry” from the box.. But I believe that if you didn’t get it the first time, you should just try again.. so I did try again and finally got a printed “YES”!! :) My number though was a little letdown.. hahaha.

Here’s a view of the stage :)

And here is Nicholas Sparks with the lucky host.

See here, how many people came just to have his autograph.

That shot was taken from the 3nd floor.. I stayed there while waiting for my turn. Gaaaad, I’m 904th! Sparks signed up 1000+ books and that is just awesome! :) Hahaha.

I sat on the 3rd floor, and stared at him for 4 hours! I’m shocked that I’m not inlove with him yet. hahahaha.

For those who do not know Nicholas Sparks, here is a brief background. He’s the author behind the bestselling novels, A Walk to Remember and The Notebook. These novels together with Nights in Rodanthe, Dear John and The Last Song, were made into films and naturally made Sparks more popular.

A lot of fans may have loved him for his A Walk to Remember and The Notebook, or his Message in a Bottle.. but The Wedding actually did it for me. I haven’t read The Lucky One yet, but I plan to read it before it shows on movie theaters this 2012.

Here’s my photo with him,

and here’s the signed book

I even got a marker souveneir! :)

Not too late to catch this movie.. Finally, right?? :) haha. watched it with my sis :) I love the juicy punch lines.. the “Quiapo” and “Mayaman/Mahirap na puta” dialogues. hahaha. I think that movie was too real, that a lot of us were able to relate. kaya gandang-ganda tayo.. that movie clearly shows how imperfect most marriages are..
Now we know, Family life is real hardwork.

[Flash 10 is required to watch video]

New Year’s Eve (2011)

Another star-studded movie directed by Gerry Marshall, just like Valentines Day.. with oh-so-irresistible cast, you won’t wanna miss watching..

Valentines Day was a big disappointment. I mean, with Julia Roberts, Ashton Kutcher, Jennifer Garner, Jessica Biel, and the rest.. nothing could go wrong, right? But sad to say, the movie was a let down for me.

With this movie, New Year’s Eve, I will not get too excited anymore.. but I will still watch it.. definitely. How can I say no to two of my Hollywood crushes?? Josh, my forever gorgeous man.. and Ashton, my ultimate dream guy.. If only for those two, plus Katherine Heigl (a current favorite too), I can overlook anything.

New Year’s Eve Cast:

Robert De Niro
Michelle Pfeiffer
Josh Duhamel
Jessica Biel
Jon Bon Jovi
Zac Efron
Lea Michele
Carla Gugino
Katherine Heigl
Ice Cube
Ashton Kutcher
Seth Meyers
Alyssa Milano
Sienna Miller
Sarah Jessica Parker
Sara Paxton
Luke Halpenny
Abigail Breslin
Russell Peters
Til Schweiger
Ryan Seacrest
Hilary Swank
Ludacris
Sofía Vergara
Halle Berry
Greg Kinnear

I know you’ve heard a million times, ‘life is short’, but let me tell you something.
What this is teaching me is that life is god damn short and you can’t waste a minute of it..
Maybe she’ll listen. There’s always a way. If you think there’s even a chance that she could be it, you fix it!
