I have mentioned here before that I went Mangrove planting, right? Here are photos taken during that community trip with SMART employees and xbow friends.
We literally walked on a muddy swamp, and planted mangrove propagules (seedlings). I searched for a sample picture in google:
Kuya here is the one in-charge, and was teaching us how to plant the propagules.
Here I was, trying to save the planet. hehehe.

these are my friends, about to go on the underground river at palawan. i will blog about that next week maybe. i swear! palawan is a beautifu, beautiful palce to be and it would be a shame not to blog about and say something about it. patience people. i will tell you all about it. dont you worry. Here goes my HK adventure post ♥
First day was tiring.. as in TIRING!!! Shops were all over Harbour.. and we just kept walking and kept looking for Mustang which btw, we didn’t get to find at the end of that day!! What we actually found after the long walk were Long Champ, Tiffany and M.A.C.
Roamed around the city, stressing our muscles.. but all smiles pa din sa picture!
We tried this cheap Chinese restaurant, food were all tomato-ish and chicken-ish and curry-ish.. IDEK. Gosh, we really should have stuck with McDonalds! hahaha.
Second day was FUN! City tour.. Fishing village.. Jewelry shop.. and DISNEYLAND!
Enjoyed my breakfast.. t’was American food by the way!! Hotel food :) yum!
3rd day was hotter than Manila’s summer! H.O.T.!!! Oh how I hate-love-hate that day.. Good thing Pandas made up for all the sweat and dehydration. They’re such cutie creatures! :)
went shopping at the night market.. I bought a bag which was originally tagged 280 HK$, but I got it for only a hundred!! talk about over pricing! ;) Divi pa din ako. hahaha. The bag was soooo nice! Leather in pale rose color.. smooth and plain.. :) goes in two bags and a small wallet.. and it’s only 100 HK$! :)
Haggardness morning the next day, we ran off to Lantau island to see the Big Buddha. A little disappointing that the cable cars were under maintenance, so we rode a bus instead. We crossed two mountain terrains.. all the zigzag roads and uphill/downhill climb made us reaaaallllly dizzy.
We climbed 200 steps just to reach the Big Buddha.. perseverance and patience.
